Hello Meltingpot Community,
Remember when I wrote that post last week lamenting the fact that I was living in limbo? Well, the devil is a liar and I got my sabbatical letter last night! Cue the confetti!!
Now, of course the evil Coronavirus may still squelch my plans but I’m still operating with my AS IF mindset. I’m going to plan my year in Spain AS IF Coronavirus will be contained by the fall.
And who knows, maybe it won’t be. Maybe Spain won’t be in the cards for our family next year. Maybe, we’ll have to adjust our plans. And we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. So, even though it looks like the world is going to hell right now, I’m just going to rejoice in this little bit of blessing I have just received.

Congratulations, Lori! I am so glad you got your sabbatical, even though it might not work out in the end. I hope, if you can’t take your sabbatical in Spain next year, you can postpone it and take it the following year.
