MAMP News Round-Up: Street Dancing, Simone Biles and Asian-American Magazines

Hello Meltingpot Readers,

If you depend on your local media outlets to find diverse news stories, you may find yourself depressed, anxious, convinced the whole world is going to hell and that only white people matter. I know that’s how I feel sometimes. So, from now on (or until I change my mind), I’m going to use Wednesdays to share stories of diverse people and communities doing good, cross cultural connections and other uplifting and important meltingpot news stories that inspire and inform. If you have a news item you think I should share on Wednesdays, send me a message via the contact page.

So, here’s a curated collection of diverse news stories to add some color to your week.
