Hello Meltingpot Readers,
The beginning of the year always seems like a perfect time to take inventory. Retail stores do it. Major corporations do it. And I try to do it too. This is more than creating a simple list of New Year’s Resolutions. I like to really examine what I’m doing well in the blogging world and what I could be doing better in both my personal and professional lives.
Because I relaunched My American Meltingpot in April and just launched the podcast in November, some people might think it’s too early to take a break, but I disagree. I’d rather take a moment now at the beginning of a new year to assess our status and make any necessary tweaks or changes, instead of waiting for an entire year to pass. Besides the fact that the whole world is hitting the reset button right now, I also have a couple weeks off from my professor job in January, so I have to take advantage.
So, dear readers, I ask you to allow me this one week to disappear from the blogging world while I tinker around and figure out what’s working and what’s not working here on MAMP. I would love to hear any comments or suggestions about the type of content you’d like to see more of here or on the podcast. You know I’m always listening.
Thank you in advance.
Peace!
