Hello Meltingpot Readers,
I feel so sneaky because even though we wrapped Season 1 of the podcast two weeks ago, we just released a bonus episode last night. Why, because I felt like something was missing. And that something, was me.
Let me explain.
For those of you who have been loyal readers here, my meltingpot origin story is pretty well know. In fact, it’s over there in my bio ===> but for folks who just discovered the My American Meltingpot podcast, how I came to be diversity’s biggest fan may be a mystery. So, I decided to do an episode where I could share my story about meeting my husband in Spain and then how we built our multiracial, multicultural, bilingual family. As luck would have it, el esposo and I were the subject of a wonderful podcast series in 2017 called The Loving Project. And in that podcast, we share our complete story. So, now I’m sharing that episode with you. Have a listen, maybe you’ll learn something new about me and my meltingpot history. And hopefully, we’ll connect again in Season 2, which launches on April 5. Hasta Luego!
