Hello Meltingpot Readers,
I hope all of my readers are enjoying this holiday season. Whether you are still aglow from Christmas merrymaking yesterday, celebrating the winter solstice, or enjoying the first day of Kwanzaa, I am sending all sorts of diverse, meltingpot blessings your way.
I spent yesterday with my family in Baltimore. I visited my 101-year-old grandmother and then had dinner with my siblings. My brother made tacos and pozole. I made the guacamole and Christmas cookies. It was a pretty colorful, multicultural meal. Just the way I like it.
For me, holidays are all about good food and family. And the more diverse the food, the better. Presents, snow, shopping, Hallmark movies and all the rest is just extra.
What was your holiday like? Was it diverse and multicultural? Traditional and tasty? Full of family and friends? What did you eat? I’m listening.
Merry Merry, Meltingpot Community!
